Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, and this policy calls all of them “cookies.”
2. How Valency uses cookies
Valency Systems Inc. (“Valency,” “we”) uses cookies on valency.io and its subdomains to run the site, keep you signed in, protect our services, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and measure how well our advertising works.
Some of our cookies are set on the valency.io domain as a whole, which means your browser sends them to all Valency subdomains, including our marketing site, documentation and product. This lets us understand how visitors move between these parts of our service.
3. Types of cookies we use
4. Consent and your region
Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies. In other regions, we may set these cookies by default, and you can opt out at any time as described in Section 7. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not set advertising cookies.
5. Cookies we set
Strictly necessary
Functional
Analytics
Advertising
We use the Meta, LinkedIn and X advertising pixels on our marketing website, not in our documentation or product.
Third-party cookies
Some features include content from other companies, which may set their own cookies. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.
6. Services that do not use cookies
We also use some services that do not store cookies on your device but do receive information, such as your IP address, when you visit our sites:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies.
- Google Fonts provides typefaces for our marketing website, and your browser requests them from Google.
- Hosting and content delivery providers, including Vercel, Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services, deliver our sites.
For more on these providers, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Managing your cookie settings
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of our website, which reopens our cookie consent banner, or by emailing privacy@valency.io. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear cookies when you close the browser. Instructions for common browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
